The Currituck Beach Light Station, located in Corolla, is the Northernmost Lighthouse of the Outer Banks. It is the only Light Station of the Outer Banks that is natural brick in color. The other Light Stations of the Outer Banks have a pattern painted on them that distinguishes them from the others. Since the Currituck Light Station is next to 4-wheel Drive Country, it is always a possibility to see some of the Wild Horses of Corolla grazing here.
